Head of Finance

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Head of Finance to oversee the organisation’s financial operations, accounting processes, payroll, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.

* Oversee daily financial operations and maintain accurate accounting records.
* Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
* Perform and review bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.
* Manage payroll processing and ensure timely salary payments.
* Ensure accurate and timely remittance of statutory deductions and obligations.
* Liaise with relevant government agencies and regulatory bodies.
* Monitor cash flow, budgets, expenses, and overall financial performance.
* Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws, financial regulations, and accounting standards.
* Coordinate audits and maintain proper financial documentation.

* Minimum of 5 -7 years’ experience in core accounting roles.
* Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable management.
* Proven experience in bank reconciliation and financial reporting.
* Good knowledge of payroll management and statutory remittances.
* Experience liaising with government regulatory agencies.
* Knowledge of tax compliance and financial regulations.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
* Strong analytical, organisational, and leadership skills.
