Job Description
We are looking for a skilled BI Reporting & Data Analyst to gather business requirements, develop reports and dashboards, and build reliable data sources that support informed decision-making. The ideal candidate has strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with business intelligence tools, reporting solutions, and data modelling.

Responsibilities
• Gather business requirements for reports, dashboards, and data stores.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications for reporting and data solutions.
• Create SQL stored procedures, data extracts, and other approved data sources.
• Develop reports and dashboards using Power BI, SSRS, Paginated Reports, Crystal Reports, Tableau, or similar tools.
• Monitor report availability and performance for internal and external users.
• Develop test cases and validate reports before production deployment.
• Optimize SQL queries, reports, and data stores for performance and reliability.
• Provide technical support and cross-training to team members.
• Establish reporting best practices, technical guidelines, and repeatable processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and Agile teams to deliver quality reporting solutions.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 3+ years of experience writing T-SQL stored procedures.
• At least 1 year of experience with Paginated Reports, Crystal Reports, SSRS, Power BI, or equivalent reporting tools.
• Working knowledge of star schema modelling and methodology.
• Understanding of OLTP and OLAP databases and schemas.
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and/or Kanban methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt to change, take initiative, learn new technologies, and deliver quality results on time.
• Reliable, high-speed internet access suitable for remote work.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience with SSIS, Tableau, Tabular Models, Business Objects Universe design, or MicroStrategy.
• Familiarity with Azure Portal, particularly Logic Apps.
• Experience using Jira.
